Assistant Sales Manager

OVERVIEW:

My client is a dynamic player in the food manufacturing industry, they specialized in food ingredients that is used for various food products in the market. Seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join their company to drive growth and expansion.

THE ROLE:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the food industry, including retailers, manufacturers, and distributors.
  • Use food science knowledge to communicate product benefits and recommend suitable solutions based on client needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and industry networking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings and marketing initiatives with customer demands.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and close sales to achieve business growth targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food technology or related field.
  • Solid grasp of food ingredients, safety standards, and product quality requirements.
  • Prior sales experience within the food ingredient industry is an added advantage.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
