Assistant Manager, Regulatory Compliance

Our Client

A well-known insurance firm is seeking an Assistant Manager, Regulatory Compliance to ensure all compliance matters are efficiently and effectively assessed, mitigated and controlled to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations.

About the Role

  • Execute compliance programme to ensure standards are met against regulatory and group/internal guidelines, policies as well as operating procedures
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies, procedures and guidelines on a risk-based basis by performing regular and comprehensive compliance risk assessments
  • Update and maintain compliance matrix and monitor the effective execution of compliance risk self-assessment within various departments
  • Coordinate and prepare various compliance reporting to group, senior management team and board
  • Assist in conducting training/briefing on regulatory compliance policies and procedures where necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Banking, Finance or relevant discipline(s)
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant risk or compliance experience in banking or insurance industries
  • Ability to cope with pressure and work effectively with external and internal stakeholders
