Assistant Manager, Data Engineering

Job description

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop Scalable Data Solutions: Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data architectures using cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.

  • Big Data & Real-Time Processing: Leverage technologies such as Databricks, Synapse, Kafka, for batch and real-time data processing.

  • Modeling & Warehousing Expertise: Implement data models using dimensional and data vault modeling; manage data lakes, data marts, and data warehouses.

  • Collaboration & Support: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, support BAU data operations, ensure data quality, and document findings and resolutions.


Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data engineering field.
  • Strong experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, and columnar databases; skilled in handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Proficient in Python & SQL.
  • Hands-on with Azure, AWS, Databricks and modern data warehousing solutions.
