Assistant HR Manager

About Our Client

Our client is a global leader within the building materials sector and is seeking for a Assistant Human Resources Manager to join their growing team. You'd be focused on talent management and strategy, working closely with key senior stakeholders to drive performance management, talent reviews, and organizational design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Strategy & Management

    • Support the development and execution of talent programs, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
    • Assist in preparing materials, data, and reports required for People Review (POR) processes.
    • Help identify skill and capability gaps and support the rollout of development programs.
    • Coordinate training initiatives, employee development activities, and talent engagement programs.
  • Organizational Design
    • Assist in reviewing and documenting organizational structures, job roles, and competency frameworks.
    • Support the analysis of current team structures and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Help implement changes to organizational processes, roles, or team designs to improve efficiency and collaboration.
    • Maintain updated organizational charts and role documentation.
  • Change Management
    • Support change management efforts for new processes, policies, and organizational initiatives.
    • Assist in preparing communication materials, timelines, and training support for change rollouts.
    • Help monitor adoption progress and gather feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Data Analysis, Reporting & Process Improvement
    • Compile and analyze workforce and talent-related data to generate insights and support decision-making.
    • Maintain dashboards, reports, and documentation to track program effectiveness.
    • Support continuous improvement of HR processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
    • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across talent and organizational development programs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Work closely with HR Business Partners, managers, and department leaders to ensure effective execution of talent and OD initiatives.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external training or assessment vendors to support program delivery.
    • Provide support and guidance to employees and leaders on talent processes, documentation, and program requirements.

Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Administration, or similar.
  • Comes with at least 2 - 3 years of experience in a HR generalist capacity, with past experience in talent management or similar projects an added advantage.
  • Data-savvy and strong reporting skills. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
