Assistant Finance Manager

About our client:

Our client is a well-established company in the healthcare industry, with an established presence in Malaysia. They are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Finance Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of finance matters, as well as leading the team there.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, based in Petaling Jaya.

  • Oversees the team for the month end closing, financial reports and performance of staffs.
  • Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets and intercompany functions.
  • Lead the annual audit, tax, treasury and company secretarial matters.
  • Actively participate in process improvement and SOPs whenever possible.
  • Assist in forecast and budgeting activities.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant financial reporting experience, background in external audit is an added advantage.
  • Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, independent and ability to lead the team.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English and Mandarin.
