Assistant Business Solutions Manager (Freight & Tender)

Job description

This Logistics MNC is looking to hire an innovative and analytical Assistant Manager for Business Solutions to be based in their Selangor office. Looking for someone who is proficient in tender management within the freight forwarding industry and must be familiar with all forms of transport (Air/Sea/Road/Others).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing global and regional level tenders/RFQ's/RFI's to produce high quality and winning tender submissions
  • Gathering customer requirements and analysing supply chain data to develop optimal solutions and proposals for customers
  • Main responsibility is managing tenders and solution designs to customers
  • Managing bid response processes from all stakeholders and driving continuous improvement on tender processes

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Holding a Bachelor's Degree in either Logistics, Business or relevant study
  • Must have a background in supply chain, business intelligence and process improvement within the freight forwarding space
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Solid experience and knowledge of Tender Management - RFQ's/RFI's for Air, LCL and FCL
