Assistant Brand Manager (NPD)

Job description

One of the market leaders within FMCG is seeking for a Assistant Brand Manager to support new product development and innovation within their homecare category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as key liaison between R&D and marketing team to oversee end-to-end new product development process to meet market needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and consumer trends to ideate and innovate current product portfolio.
  • Manage A&P budget to ensure cost optimization and project is on track.
  • Prepare and implement NPD projects according to set timelines to minimise delays and ensure smooth execution.
  • Analyse internal and external reports as well as consumer insights to adapt into prospective new products and innovations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Holds a Diploma/Degree in Marketing or similar.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a brand marketing, NPD, or brand innovation role within FMCG or relevant industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management.
