Area Sales Manager

Job description

Our client is an international leader in medical equipment and devices, and is currently looking for an Area Sales Manager, where you will be responsible for managing a team and achieving the company's long-term objectives within the medical equipment business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and training the sales team and ensuring an increase in their competency and productivity.
  • Planning and executing sales strategy and activities for the assigned product portfolio.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to maximise company revenue.
  • Assisting the Sales Manager in monitoring the sales margins and revenue, and preparing sales forecasts and reports.
  • Conducting market research and analysing competitor trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Working closely with the marketing team on workshop, exhibition, and conference planning and set up.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5-7 years of experience in medical device and equipment sales.
  • People management / team leading experience is required.
  • Experience in working with private and government hospital channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
