Area Sales Executive

Our client is a global household name in the FMCG industry and is seeking an Area Sales Executive based in Johor Bahru, where you will be responsible for leading a team and oveseeing sales, planning, and execution for the General Trade channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Sub Distributors and GT retailers.
• Identifying new business opportunities to penetrate the market and new retailers.
• Managing product returns / damages / expiry.
• Ensuring merchandising, product display and positioning, as well as POSM execution.
• Working closely with the sales team to achieve overall sales and distribution targets for all channels.
• Conducting managerial meetings and compiling reports of activity progress and sales performance.
• Growing and managing relationships with assigned Sub Distributors to maximise sales and distribution opportunities.
• Analyzing consumer trends, competitor activity, and conducting market research.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in FMCG sales and distributor management.
• Experience in the General Trade channel is an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
