Application Engineer

Job description

My client is a market-leader in providing end-to-end industrial automation solutions to various industries from healthcare to automotive. They are currently looking for an experienced and capable Application Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilties:

  • Drafting customer proposals in response to formal Request for Quotations (RFQs).
  • Collaborating with the Engineering department to develop concepts for new projects.
  • Calculating and assembling cost estimates for upcoming projects.
  • Monitoring the status of proposals that have been presented to clients.
  • Providing support for technical problems encountered.
  • Ensuring the Bill of Materials (BOM) provided by the customer is current and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Hold a diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a similar discipline, showcasing a solid grounding in engineering concepts and methodologies.
  • A minimum of one year's experience in the field of industrial automation equipment is desirable.
  • Possess outstanding written and oral communication abilities to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Excel in a lively and brisk work setting, adept at juggling numerous priorities and handling time-critical financial tasks.
