AM/M, Actuarial (Valuation) - General Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform actuarial valuations and reserving analyses for general insurance portfolios.

• Support audit and consultancy engagements, including review of statutory and IFRS 17-based actuarial reports.

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting, including RBC and other regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, underwriting, and claims.

• Contribute to model development, documentation, and process improvements.

• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

• Progress in actuarial exams (SOA, IFoA, or equivalent).

• 5-7 years of experience in general insurance actuarial work, preferably in reserving, audit, or financial reporting.

• Strong understanding of IFRS 17, RBC, and local regulatory frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
