Actuarial Senior Manager - IFRS17 Reporting & Capital

Job description

Job Summary: Support the Head of IFRS17 Reporting & Capital in ensuring long-term financial stability by managing reserves, reviewing financial projections, and adhering to IFRS17, Central Bank, and Group guidelines.


1. Develop actuarial valuation processes meeting IFRS 17 and Group standards, validate controls, and ensure reserve adequacy.
2. Review business plans considering actuarial aspects like loss ratios and reinsurance optimization.
3. Collaborate with local teams for timely Financial Condition Report completion.
4. Conduct quantitative risk appetite assessments, contribute to asset allocation studies, and support capital projects with actuarial analysis.
5. Maintain consistency in processes and policies to comply with Central Bank and Group regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Preferably a degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Insurance, or Risk Management.
- Membership in a recognized Actuarial Institute or Society with progress in professional exams.
- Minimum 7 years of actuarial experience, understanding local insurance markets and regulatory requirements.
- Skills include strong knowledge of general insurance valuation, compliance understanding, analytical aptitude, multitasking ability, and motivation.
