Accounts Payable/Receivable/GL/Master Data - KOREAN Speaker

My Client is a Multinational Company and a top leader in its respective industry. Being a public listed MNC with over billions of revenues, they invest massive resources into their staff training programme to develop their people from the ground. They are currently having multiple expansion roles that require (Korean Speaker) - Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Master Data Analyst

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP) (Korean Speaker)

• Regional exposure to support Asia Pacific countries

• Participates in projects and initiatives plans across APAC regions
• Invoice / Payment Processing depending on scope of work
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting
• Perform Verification of Invoices
• Handle critical queries and provide accurate information to other business unit
• Assist and support manager in implementation of AP process improvement initiatives
• Ad hoc tasks assigned by management as required

Accounts Receivable (AR) (Korean Speaker)

• Regional exposure to support Asia Pacific countries
• Monitor and manage customer order release activities
• Review customers' remittance and process cash transactions.
• Involve in reconciliation on customers' statement of accounts
• Analyse unapplied cash receipt
• Assist billing activity
• Perform customer collection activities if required and monitor customer aging
• Assist and support manager in implementation of AR process improvement initiatives
• Assist ad-hoc project assigned from time to time

General Ledger (GL) (Korean Speaker)

• Regional exposure to support Asia Pacific countries
• Responsible for daily journal posting activity.
• Actively involved in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts in general accountings.
• Performance Balance sheet reconciliation related activities
• Assist and support manager in implementation of GL process improvement initiatives
• Involved in compliance activities and liaise with external audit queries.
• Assist ad-hoc project assigned from time to time

Master Data (MDM) (Korean Speaker) (Shared Service Background - MUST)

• Involve in the creation, updates, deletion, deactivation of Vendor / Customer Data Records
• Conduct reviews of Master Data records and creations request
• Conducts verbal verification with the actual supplier upon master data creation and and changes to banking/payment details
• Support and implements process change improvements and system upgrades/updates
• Execute the governance process to evaluate and implement localisation / customisation

Main Requirements

• Ranging between 1 - 6 year of relevant experience (multiple different positions available)
• SSC (Shared Services Centre) background will be advantageous but not a must
• Ability to Speak, Read and Write in Korean Language.
• Any Diploma/Degree would be sufficient, with Degree in Finance & Accounting/Commerce being preferred
• Independent with the ability to build relationship with stakeholders from various countries
• Able to work well with the team in a fast paced MNC environment
