Vision Process Engineer

This company in Malacca is a global semiconductor manufacturer. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking a Vision Process Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for sustanence and support of vision application for high speed and high precision equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing process to eliminate escapees. You will be working closely with other crossfunctional stakeholders (QA/ R&D/ Manufacturing) to define the requirements for the creation of total business solutions. You will be responsible in setting up of vision system data collection, evaluation reports, buyoffs etc. You will be required to evaluate and establish vision system performance specifications and to support on all on-sites issues.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronic/relevant).
  • Preferably with 3 years minimum (or more) working knowledge & experience in high volume manufacturing. Semiconductor environment with exposure to Vision Process/Machinery.
  • Good and effective communication skills with all levels within the organization and customer, with high emphasis on strong oral & written proficiency in English.
  • Self-motivated individual who is action/result oriented, independent, flexible, with a passion for developing technical excellence products.
  • Hands on experience on vision application.
  • Excellent communication skills, with cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
