Vice President - Engineering

Our client is a global IT company is currently looking for VP of Engineering based in Malaysia who can oversee group of Directors from various region.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage a team of engineering directors and engineers globally
• Develop and execute engineering strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget
• Ensure the adoption of best practices in software development, including considerations for security, scalability, and performance.
• Handle the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of engineering personnel.
• Track and report on engineering team performance using metrics and KPIs to drive enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with international stakeholders to coordinate efforts and ensure effective collaboration across different time zones and cultures.

Key Requirements :

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equilvalent
• Has strong expeirence in softwafe development and engineering principles
• Experience managing regional teams up to 200 headcounts
• Able to manage Engineering leads at various region
• Strong mindset with good stakeholder management skills
• Strong communication and decision making skills
