Technical Support Assistant Manager

Job description

A MNC manufacturer in its field, operating in over 100 countries. The company is known for its high-quality products and commitment to sustainability, aiming to protect property with minimal environmental impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Respond to all technical inquiries from customers (via sales) regarding product use, risk assessments, and guarantees, ensuring adherence to policies and technical guidelines for correct product usage and specifications.
  • Handle claims and complaints, working closely with relevant functions to ensure lessons are learned to prevent recurrence.
  • Evaluate and approve or reject complex off-specifications by assessing the consequences of proposed changes to limit risk exposure (excluding Powder).
  • Monitor and follow up on the guarantee process managed by the local organization to minimize risk exposure.
  • Participate in technical investigations of claims when necessary, determining if complaints are justified according to guidelines.
  • Lead and manage the assigned part of the local Technical Support team, aligning with policies, market development, and local company focus to develop a competent and motivated department.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 4 - 6 years of relevant experience required.
  • Preferably have experience and knowledge in Technical.
  • Must be proficient in verbal and written English.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to travel within the region when required.
  • Presentation skills program.
  • Chinese speaking is required to liaise with china stakeholders.
