Sustainability Real Estate Manager

My client is a world-leading Management Consulting firm with operations and presence all over the globe. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking a Sustainability Real Estate Manager to join their team. This person will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Support the COE Real Estate Sustainability Leader to embed sustainability concepts into major global, real estate projects across our 3m square metre portfolio
• Focus on ensuring sustainability is factored into the following across the global estate: site selection and leasing decisions, the design/construction of office fit-outs, and effective handover to our operational teams
• Prepare sustainability-related presentations/reports and undertake presentations to key stakeholders
• This position is a a regional role, supporting the company's business internationally

Profile

• GBI/LEED/ BREEAM/ WELL/ and/or other equivalent certified assessor
• Strong understanding of industry/ sustainability reporting frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, SASB, TCFD and the GHG Protocol.
• Experience in real estate with experience in either a sustainability consultancy, design role or in-house delivering sustainable real estate projects
• Ability to use, apply and promote frameworks to organize concepts, identify gaps, and communicate ideas clearly
• Project management experience with complex projects within the built environment from design to handover. Experience of monitoring buildings in operation ideal.
