Supply Chain Manager/Logistics Manager

This established F&B MNC is one of the market leaders in Malaysia and is looking for a resourceful and reliable Supply Chain Manager to lead their plants in East Malaysia. This person must be quick-witted and be able to solve issues that arise within the supply chain department and be able grow the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible to manage the logistics and warehouse teams to work closely in tandem with the transporters to ensure the timely delivery of goods
  • Being able to meet the customers expectations by ensuring the smooth delivery of finished good
  • Good knowledge of beverage products in aluminium cans, PT bottles and tetra boxes
  • Maintaining and reviewing standard operating procedures and policies
  • Be able to optimise best warehouse solutions after peak seasons
  • Ability to enforce and manage FIFO compliance in distribution and warehousing
  • To uphold good housekeeping and enforcement of GMP in the warehousing and distribution
  • Ensuring effective inventory controls of full goods and relevant packaging materials

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Holding a Degree in either Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
  • Preferably from KK or based in KK - willing to relocate for a few years is possible
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain
  • Strong background in F&B - especially in the Beverage industry
  • Knowledgeable in SAP & WMS, GWP & 7's Management System.
  • Is extremely resourceful, independent and proactive - will be able to problem solve with various sectors in Sc like logistics, courier, shipments, manufacturing, etc
