Sr System Analyst - Life Asia (AS400)

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Life Core systems (Life Asia / Life 400 / Life J) for Business Units (BUs) across Asia.Accountable for maintaining and supporting production systems for these BUs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver solutions for Life Core Systems across multiple functionalities.
• Manage and lead medium-scale project teams, allocating resources based on the project implementation plan.
• Assign tasks and provide coaching to team members to ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
• Oversee and monitor development activities carried out by vendors.
• Provide integration solutions to ensure seamless connectivity with other systems.
• Translate user requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, and lead the project team in executing development based on approved specifications.
• Collaborate closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Conduct feasibility studies on requirements and functional specifications in partnership with users and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and execute the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including system design, development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancements.

Key Requirements :

• Strong experience with Life Asia, Life 400, and Life J systems, as well as COBOL and AS/400 platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of the life insurance domain.
• Proven project management capabilities.
• Demonstrated track record in implementing life insurance applications and system
• Good communication skills
