Sr. Engineer, Control Software Design

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing company in the manufacturing industry, committed to innovation and excellence. They are seeking a talented professional to design, develop, and optimize control software for advanced manufacturing systems. This role involves both development and integration projects to ensure high performance and reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded control software for automation systems and semiconductor equipment.
• Enhance and optimize existing software modules to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Test and verify software to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Review and improve software designs, coding standards, and testing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to integrate advanced technologies.
• Manage and coordinate projects with vendors and partners, ensuring timely delivery and smooth integration.
• Apply advanced R&D practices and stay updated on emerging technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing technical expertise and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in embedded software development or control system design.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems; knowledge of Python or Java is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with microcontroller peripherals (GPIO, ADC, PWM, UART, I2C) and industrial protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE, MQTT, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with control algorithms, IoT platforms, and automation systems.
