Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and implementation of digital strategies, ensuring a robust core infrastructure across products, services, processes, and systems, while introducing innovative technologies and strengthening digital channels.
- Build and enhance capabilities required for designing and developing modern, future‑oriented digital architectures.
- Collaborate within cross‑functional teams to deliver all activities necessary to successfully provide relevant products, services, processes, and systems.
- Manage the product portfolio, overseeing the lifecycle of assigned products, services, processes, and/or systems-from conception to continuous improvement-while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Continuously optimize standardized and efficient process and organizational frameworks to improve operational effectiveness.
- Develop, expand, and transfer technical, process, and IT‑related knowledge within the area of responsibility.
- Establish and execute agile quality assurance and risk management practices to support high‑quality, reliable delivery.
- Conduct market, trend, and competitive analyses and translate insights into actionable concepts and recommendations.
- Provide clarity to engineers and stakeholders by communicating work‑in‑progress code through demos, showcases, and documentation.
- Manage customer and stakeholder interfaces, including requirements analysis, consultation, and support for central functions and business units on relevant topics.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external requirements, including regulatory, reporting, compliance, and audit standards, following industry best practices.
- Operate and maintain infrastructure and systems, ensuring stability, effective support, data accuracy, reporting, and authorization management.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and maintain stable operational environments for all products, services, processes, and systems.
- Integrate IT accessibility and software ergonomics into improvements across products, services, processes, and systems, in alignment with accessibility and inclusion objectives.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Python, shell scripting, and Solaris administration, including IPS packaging and release management.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing concepts, version control, and release processes.
- Experience with SRE practices and Everything-as-Code, including documentation, secrets management, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
- Ability to read, debug, and implement templating languages such as Jinja2.
- Familiarity with software architecture principles for building scalable automation solutions.
- Proficiency with the Ansible Automation Platform.
- Hands‑on experience deploying and maintaining Solaris application servers and providing 2nd/3rd‑level support.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Solaris, Zones virtualization, clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with SAN storage administration, ZFS, volume management, RAID, and multipathing.
- Knowledge of security practices (SIEM, patching, PAM), IAM technologies (LDAP, Kerberos), cloud fundamentals, scripting for automation, and supporting server migration projects.
