SEO Specialist

Job description


Join a tech consultancy that provides technical, strategic, and comprehensive solutions to their clients across the Southeast Asia region.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the SEO Specialist will be responsible for setting the strategy to drive page optimization, create a positive user experience, growing website traffic, lead volume and brand awareness for their clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform keyword research to determine the best keyword targets for a
    client's SEO strategy.
  • Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based
    on clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Develop a solid on-page SEO strategy for company websites.
  • Recommending and executing strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals.
  • Develop page optimization including page titles, meta descriptions, and assist with site structure.
  • Actively keep up to date with industry trends, news, best practices, methodologies, software, tools, and algorithm changes.
  • Help establish client goals, as it relates to SEO and their business.
  • Create reports and benchmark SEO initiatives to gain insights and measure progress against established goals.
  • Work closely with developers and content writers.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO
    campaigns.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SEO.
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools.
  • Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skill level data analysis, marketing sense, customer journey, and SEO
    knowledge (familiarity with on-page SEO, off-page SEO & other technical SEO).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
