Infrastructure Manager

Our Client

A well established MNC is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to support the region by ensuring stability, integrity and efficient operations of the IT systems that support core organisational functions.

About the Role

  • Building and supporting solutions that leverage our existing investment in Microsoft-based technology
  • Incident management lifecycle: investigation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, issue resolution, follow-up, and related documentation and communication to reduce the likelihood of the issue persisting in the future
  • Building a culture of continuous improvement with the technologies and products within the scope of responsibility for supporting including but not limited to Citrix, VMware, Windows Systems, O365, Cloud, etc
  • Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organisations data, systems and networks
  • Ensuring that the organisation's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls; troubleshoot all system and/or network security breaches

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent discipline(s); additional professional certification in the relevant domain will be an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years' experience designing, implementing, and supporting MS technology stack (Servers, Hyper-V, Azure Cloud, O365, Active Directory), Cloud Platform and VMware solutions (VMware 5/6/7, vSphere 4x 5x 6x)
  • Proven track records in building, configuring and supporting network infrastructure solutions (on-premises, virtualization, Public Cloud) using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR and storage architectures
