Senior Supply Chain Executive (Mandarin)

Job description

This global company based in KL is looking to hire a Senior Supply Chain Executive who will be overseeing the supply chain process from raw materials to the delivery of the products. Expected to have a strong background in raw materials and be skilled in coordination and time management. Must be able to speak Mandarin to deal with suppliers from China.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the entire supply chain process from raw materials to finished products
  • Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that optimize efficiency and minimize costs
  • Company has businesses based in the Philippines and Indonesia so this person will need to be able to deal with external product licenses
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Maind suppliers based in China so must be able to regularly communicate
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with 3PL providers
  • Ability to occasionally work ad-hoc when deliveries come in and if there are issues with the alignment or the stock



Skills & Experience Required:

  • Must have at least 3+ years of work experience from a raw material background
  • Have a Diploma or Degree in relevant field of study
  • Have strong skills in time management and coordination
  • Must be able to speak Mandarin for ease of communication with suppliers
