Senior Software Engineer (Node JS)

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading multinational company in the auction industry, committed to innovation and excellence. They are seeking a talented professional to design, develop, and optimize control software for advanced auction systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in building microservices and APIs using Node.js.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development.
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript and experience with frameworks such as ExpressJS and NestJS.
• Expertise in designing and building databases supporting microservices (SQL Servers, MongoDB) and implementing caching tools like Redis.
• Experience working with cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
• Exposure to security technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Key Vaults.
• Familiarity with Gitflow processes for code management and reviews.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace agile principles.
• Deep understanding of common design patterns for microservices development.
• Experience working in cross-functional agile teams with Scrum ceremonies and DevOps culture.
• Proficiency with ALM tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-driven learner with high aptitude for mastering new technologies.
• Ability to evaluate and challenge functional and technical requirements.
• 5+ years of experience as a senior software engineer, including technical leadership and mentoring.
