We are partnering with a major property development company to look for a dedicated and passionate Salesforce Developer to join their team. This role is vital in developing their application across the group and delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions to support their business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools.
- Build and enhance business logic through custom controllers, controller extensions, triggers, and Flows.
- Create responsive and user‑friendly interfaces by combining Visualforce with modern front‑end technologies such as JavaScript and jQuery where applicable.
- Configure and extend Salesforce functionality through both standard and custom components to meet evolving business requirements.
- Perform system integrations between Salesforce and internal or third‑party platforms using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Apply development best practices to deliver enhancements, resolve defects, and support ongoing platform stability.
- Manage release activities, including promoting changes from sandbox environments to production using structured deployment processes.
- Participate in requirement‑gathering sessions with business stakeholders, contributing to solution design, testing, and rollout.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to application architecture, development standards, and support practices.
- Provide advanced technical assistance, including root‑cause analysis, defect resolution, and usage guidance for end users.
- Configure and optimize Salesforce Omni‑Channel to improve workflow efficiency and case routing.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex platform‑related issues.
Skills & experience required:
- A minimum of three years of professional Salesforce development experience, preferably supported by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands‑on expertise in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Flows.
- Strong experience implementing solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated deployments.
- Demonstrated experience modifying standard Salesforce objects, creating custom objects, and extending platform functionality.
- Proven ability to migrate legacy automation (e.g., Process Builder) into Flow‑based solutions.
- Experience delivering and supporting secure integrations such as payment gateways and digital signature workflows.
- Practical understanding of API‑based integrations using REST or SOAP, along with JSON and XML data formats.
- Exposure to integrating Salesforce with enterprise and third‑party systems (e.g., telephony, analytics, marketing automation, survey, or BI tools).
- Familiarity with Agile practices and experience working within iterative, collaborative delivery teams.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder or Platform Developer I are strongly preferred; Platform Developer II is an added advantage.
- Experience applying Salesforce Einstein capabilities, including predictive analytics, conversational bots, and intelligent recommendations, to enhance user engagement and decision‑making.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
