Senior Sales Manager

Job description

Our client is a global healthcare company that provides a range of products and services across the healthcare industry. They are seeking for a Senior Sales Manager for their medical devices business unit, focused on specialty products within the blood and transfusion category.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full business ownership: Lead the end-to-end MedTech business in Malaysia, with full P&L accountability, driving revenue growth and EBIT through effective commercial and operational execution.
  • Sales strategy & execution: Develop and implement product, sales, and marketing strategies across the entire product lifecycle, including medical affairs, device registration, and technical services.
  • Team leadership & capability building: Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing sales, marketing, and service teams while embedding strong commercial excellence and activity planning.
  • Partner & stakeholder management: Manage distributors, agencies, KOLs, and internal stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, compliance, successful tenders, and strong customer relationships.
  • Performance & operational control: Oversee forecasting, expense management, reporting, and supply chain coordination to ensure accurate planning, disciplined cost control, and sustainable business growth.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Business Administration, or relevant.
  • Comes with at around 8 - 10 years of experience handling medical devices, with prior experience managing the blood transfusion or similar an added advantage.
  • Proven sales track record with P&L management and team leadership experience.
  • Strong command of English with good interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and business acumen.
