Senior Procurement Executive

This established F&B manufacturer is rapidly expanding and is looking for a capable Senior Procurement Executive who can hit the ground running. As a Senior Procurement Executive it is crucial to know the procuring of fresh ingredients and industrial materials (food chemicals) and have experience in dealing with F&B industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement
  • Sound knowledge in the procuring of fresh ingredients (produceables/goods that will expire) and industrial materials (food chemicals, sauces)
  • Manage and control food cost at targeted level
  • Maintain good relationship with suppliers (both local and oversea) and ensure product stability and service level
  • Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and Purchasing best practice tools and methods
  • Controlling the purchasing budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on purchasing costs.
  • Analysis trends and market conditions for pricing, availability, lead time and capacity of goods & services

Skills & Experience Required

  • Holding a Degree in either Procurement, Business Administration or Supply Chain
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the F&B space
  • Ability to implement ERP and its management
  • Have managed more than one factory/warehouse and can multi-task independently
  • Have demonstrated success in handling negotiations, responsible sourcing and supplier relations management
