Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Engineering Manager or Senior Engineer in developing designs for M&E systems, HVAC systems, chilled water systems, process utilities, control systems, and architectural-related works.
  • Prepare detailed design calculations and ensure all concepts comply with engineering standards, relevant codes, contract requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Develop and review designs for large-scale air conditioning systems, including centralized and chilled water-based systems.
  • Develop and coordinate complete tender packages, including design drawings, technical specifications.
  • Manage clients, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure compliance and coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction or project environment.
  • Hands-on experience in chilled water system design and large-scale air conditioning system projects is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection.
