Senior Manager Balance Sheet Mgt

Job Description:

• Support the Head of Balance Sheet Management and Capital & Liquidity Reporting in executing strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing the Bank's balance sheet and funding cost, with a focus on improving returns.

• Actively contribute to providing leadership and guidance in the management of balance sheet, capital, and liquidity by leveraging analytics, insights, and subject matter expertise.

• Conduct a monthly analytical review of the balance sheet, offering insights into performance drivers and emerging trends that impact the shape of the balance sheet.

• Provide relevant information to assist the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) in efficiently managing the Bank's balance sheet.

• Oversee the issuance and redemption of capital, ensuring transparency in communications with credit rating agencies regarding capital and liquidity matters. Provide guidance on profit retention strategies.

• Lead and support coordination efforts for reviews and audits conducted by external auditors or Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) pertaining to Balance Sheet Management.

• Assist in the delivery of the annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), stress testing, and reverse stress testing exercises.

• Contribute to the development and execution of the Country's Recovery Plan.

• Ensure the delivery of the Corporate Plan, including the Balance Sheet component and monthly rolling forecasts.

• Serve as a role model for adherence to the risk management framework, Financial Controls Reconciliation and Substantiation Policy, Committee Governance Standards, and other relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• 8 - 10 years experience in Balance Sheet (ALCO, ICAAP and Capital & Liquidity)
