Senior Java Consultant

A multinational software development centre is hiring Senior Java Consultant to join the largest IT hub under the group in Asia.

The Senior Java Consultant is mainly tasked to deliver medium to complex Java-based technical consultations and project management for internal and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage resouces and project capacity by liaising with technical team and stakeholders through standardized processed and delivery methodologies
• Accountable to release timely updates of project status to ensure deliverables are met within stipulated timeline and budget
• Involve in end-to-end delivery cycle
• Provide business consultations and user workshops as per requested
• Propose relevant solutions or technical presentations based on user requirements for new account wins

Desired Skills:

• Computer Science graduates (Bachelor's degree and above)
• Strong technical knowledge in systems running on core Java, SQL and Linux environment
• Must possess 5 to 8 years of technical consultation or software development experience to have good understanding of change management processes
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, prerably dealing with regional projects
• Demonstrates good problem-solving and logical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
