Senior Finance Manager

About Our Client:
We are currently recruiting for a global multinational healthcare company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Senior Finance Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of finance matters and lead the finance team. There is a high chance of career progression and succession planning internally.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, based in Petaling Jaya:

  • Responsible for full spectrum of financial reporting and statutory matters for the Malaysia business.
  • Assist in detailed financial planning and analysis to support business decision making.
  • Consolidate and provide commentary on financial performance for management review.
  • Closely coordinate and complete quarterly/annual forecast and long-term group business plan.
  • Actively involved in analysis which includes, pricing, project analysis, ROI, cost optimisation, etc.
  • Ensure that month end close activities are done accurately and efficiently, which would also include review of journal entries, balance sheet modules, inventory, etc.
  • Guide and train the finance team members.
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, group SOP and internal controls.
  • Perform in ad-hoc duties and projects as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant financial reporting and financial planning experience, with at least 4-5 years of people management experience.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, people management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English and Mandarin, as there are liaison with stakeholders in other SEA countries.
