About Our Client

We are currently recruiting for a company that is a rapidly growing organisation in the services sector in Malaysia. They are currently seeking to hire a Senior Finance Executive to join their expanding finance team. The role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in financial and management reporting and are keen to broaden their exposure. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Head of Finance, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Manage and coordinate with external accountants to ensure high-quality and compliant financial reporting
• Work closely with external auditors to support a smooth and efficient audit process.

• Assist in financial analysis to support planning, forecasting, and informed decision-making.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to business unit leaders for strategic initiatives.
• Support fundraising activities and prepare investor-related financial reports as required.
• Enhance and streamline finance systems, tools, and processes to improve scalability, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

• Conduct various ad-hoc duties per request.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.

• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in accounting, preferably with exposure with other related financial reporting roles.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and cashflow analysis.

• Team oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
