About the Role
We are partnering with a global market leader in the electronics manufacturing industry on a confidential search for a Senior Buyer (Mass Production). This role supports operations purchasing to ensure supply stability and optimal inventory levels for mass‑production commodities. You will be part of a high‑performance supply chain team operating in a high‑mix, fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure supplier On‑Time Delivery (OTD) and secure supply continuity for mass‑production parts.
- Support and guide junior buyers as needed.
- Implement procurement tools and best practices to improve efficiency.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier quality and delivery performance.
- Lead RFQ/RFI activities, conduct cost/price analysis, and support commercial negotiations.
- Maintain strong daily communication with suppliers to resolve DMR, GR, quality, logistics, and payment issues.
- Maintain SAP data accuracy and purchasing system integrity.
- Manage inventory levels through rescheduling, push‑outs, and pull‑ins.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with planning, logistics, quality, and engineering teams.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve procurement processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing purchasing and/or planning.
- Familiarity with SAP and direct materials purchasing.
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Experience resolving supplier issues and managing tactical procurement activities.
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior buyers.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
