Our client is a leading player in the esports industry, and as part of their business growth plans they are seeking for a Senior Business Development Manager. In this role, you'd be in charge of maintaining existing partner relationships as well as seeking for new partnerships to boost revenue and expand market presence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Revenue Growth: Lead strategic new business efforts by identifying and securing high‑value partners across emerging and non-endemic sectors (e.g., FMCG, Finance, Automotive). Drive revenue expansion through alliances that elevate market presence and engage youth-focused audiences.
- Sales Strategy & Go‑to‑Market Execution: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for new events, partnerships, and product offerings. Act as the key bridge between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless execution and outcome-driven campaigns.
- Client, Sponsor & Stakeholder Management: Own long-term sponsor relationships by delivering consistent value, proactive updates, and insight-driven recommendations. Build strong ties with media and creative agencies while nurturing a broad industry network to support continuous business growth.
- Consultative Solutioning & Proposal Development: Craft compelling, tailored proposals that articulate clear commercial value and strategic impact for prospective clients and partners. Translate business and marketing needs into actionable partnership solutions.
- Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal sales, marketing, content, and operations teams to align on execution plans and optimise client delivery. Champion a collaborative environment that enhances customer success and organisational efficiency.
- Performance Tracking & Growth Opportunities: Monitor campaign performance, uncover upsell opportunities, and apply data-driven insights to strengthen client retention and business scalability.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar.
- Comes with at around 8 - 10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or similar, coming with a strong network of youthful and dynamic brands.
- Strong command of English and Malay, with proficiency in Mandarin an added advantage.
- Ability to build and maintain new customer relationships with proven track record.
