Senior BI Developer

Job description

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end dashboards using Power BI, encompassing data extraction, transformation, and visualization, with expertise in PowerQuery, M Language, DAX, and PowerBI functions.
  • Extract data from the Snowflake data warehouse using SQL and collaborate closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists for on-demand data visualization and proof-of-concept analysis.
  • Engage in high-level discussions, feasibility studies, and POC delivery, working with Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and requirements alignment.
  • Manage a team of developers, oversee ETL processes, and define and maintain quality standards to ensure data integrity and compliance with established procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields like Mathematics, Data Science, or Economics.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in BI project development
  • Experience leading BI developers for 2-3 years.
  • Hands-on Developing Experience with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerBI, Sharepoints, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Excel Macro, PowerQuery)
