Senior Back End Developer (Java)

Company background:

One of the top players within the Chemical producing industry - with multiple office locations in different countries across the world.

What you will do?

• Drive the development of central platform independently as part of Agile DevOps team
• Design and implement individual microservices, and to build a stable and sustainable API layer for several consuming applications
• To ensure quality of code through defining coding conventions / development guidelines, ensuring high test coverage, introducing code quality tools
• Contribute to the automation of development and deployment processes optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure smooth and secured integration of new services into overall system landscape while taking care of existing backend systems

What you need to have?

• Diploma / Bachelor in Computer Science or relevant field
• A proven track of at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions
• Technical requirements: Java, Spring, API, No-SQL databases, Microservices
• Strong communication skills - to deal with stakeholders from different locations
