Senior Accountant

• Opportunity to collaborate with regional team

An opportunity to work with a leading Australian based industrial company. Being a growing organization, they are looking for a experienced Senior Accountant to oversee end to end accounting for Malaysian subsidiary based in Petaling Jaya.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of accounting functions including review of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, inventories, financial statements, intercompany reconciliations for the group of companies.
• Assess the internal control system is properly maintained and ensure all accounting and financial reporting are compliant
• Prepare financial statements for regional entities and responsible for closing activities
• Manage the annual audit process and annual tax compliance lodgments while coordinating and reviewing the annual stock take for Malaysia
• Supporting the APAC group accounting function which includes monthly recons and analysis for APAC Region

Requirements:

• Tertiary education with professional qualification such as MIA,CPA,CA or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Fluent English (Written & Spoken)
• Prior experience using Netsuite, will be an added advantage
