  • To assist Department Head in ensuring quality review / development / implementation of Risk lending guideline to support business strategy
  • To identify potential process gaps and to propose credit risk initiatives to ensure portfolio health and to strengthen Retail and RSME credit risk policy framework
  • To conduct review and to extend credit risk advisory on any new / variation of Business and Regional proposals
  • To demonstrate leadership in managing expectation from Business, Credit and Risk Governance during the initiation or enhancement of Retail and RSME risk proposals
  • To proactively liaise with Business, Credit, Collections and Regional Offices in identifying the process lapses for subsequent policy formulation / standardization / customization of policies/ guidelines for Retail and RSME credit risk
  • To translate the key requirements of credit risk monitoring in the risk proposals into a simplified version for effective engagement with MIS team in delivering the expected result to be aligned with bank approved risk appetite and business objectives
  • To facilitate the engagement of the team with MIS Team to establish appropriate limit frameworks benchmarking against internal historical conduct, competitor and industry performance
  • To be one of the key retail credit risk representatives to actively participate in the AGILE / FIT22 project meetings or initiatives for Retail and RSME
  • To be the lead user in reviewing the system functional specification, discussion with stakeholders, finalizing the policy rule setting, ensuring accurate system configuration, verifying the user acceptance test result and integrating user requirements into system effectively before system deployment
  • To ensure and maintain consistent compliance of the regulatory requirements in order to safeguard the bank's reputation and interest
  • To regularly identify training needs, actively provide guidance and to discuss about the career development plan with the direct reports as part of the staff retention initiatives
  • To assist the immediate superior in any task delegated / task assigned when required
