Section Head, Credit Operations
Job description
Our Client
A leading banking group is seeking a Section Head, Credit Operations to lead a credit team and achieve process and operational excellence, as well as ensure compliance to the regulatory requirements.
About the Role
- Supervise daily credit operations in the areas of client and remisier assessment, granting and periodic review of trading limit, AMLA transaction monitoring and other related functions
- Establish adequate internal controls and risk management to ensure credit operational processes function effectively, as well as comply with the bank's credit policies and external regulators' guidelines
- Propose and implement enhancement related to credit Control in back office system and trading platforms to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Review and update approving authorities policies, guidelines, operations manuals
- Guide and train team members in their job functions and career development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking, Accounting, Economics or relevant discipline(s)
- Minimum 8 years' experience in credit risk management, preferably in the investment banking, stockbroking industry
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
