SAP Basis Executive

About our client:

A leading multinational technology-driven organization is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join its expanding IT operations team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in complex enterprise landscapes and want to contribute to high‑availability system environments supporting global business operations.

You will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of SAP systems across the organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and capable of managing large-scale SAP environments with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level SAP Basis support, ensuring high system availability and performance.
• Conduct daily system monitoring, health checks, tuning, upgrades, patching, and system refreshes.
• Manage transport requests, client copies, user administration, and SAP Notes implementation.
• Support project-related activities across functional SAP modules and cross-functional teams.
• Handle incident and change requests including security/authorization, connectivity, job administration, and functional troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis for major incidents and drive corrective & preventive actions.
• Ensure continuous system optimization, monitoring, and performance improvements.
• Provide knowledge sharing and mentoring to junior team members.
• Participate in shift rotations and provide standby support during non-standard hours as required.

Skills & Experiences required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Experience supporting multiple SAP environments such as:

• SAP S/4HANA, ECC 6.0, SAP CRM, SAP PI, SAP BW, SAP Portal, SAP Solution Manager, ABAP stack

• Must have completed at least 2 full-cycle go‑lives (e.g., migrations, interface setup, refreshes).
• Strong knowledge of OS & DB technologies (e.g., Linux, Redhat, Oracle, Hana, Windows Server).
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate in global team environments.
• Able to create clear documentation for both routine and non-routine tasks.
