Sales Planning & Promotion Manager

Job description

Our client is a prominent automotive brand with strong market presence, and they are seeking a Sales Planning & Promotion Manager to spearhead market analysis, sales activation strategies, and promotional governance. In this role, you will play a key part in driving sales effectiveness through data‑driven planning, structured promotion management, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support sustained commercial growth.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of industry performance and competitive shifts to anticipate market demand and shape commercial planning.
    • Monitor macro and category-level growth indicators to support strategic sizing, forecasting, and long‑range business decisions.
    • Deliver monthly insight dashboards that highlight performance drivers, risk areas, and new commercial opportunities.
    • Design and govern sales activation plans, ensuring each initiative is financially sound, results‑driven, and aligned to business priorities.
    • Manage promotion governance, demo fleet cost control, and reimbursement processes to maintain commercial discipline and budget accuracy.
    • Partner with internal teams and financial institutions to optimise pricing structures, dealer programs, and collaborative market initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Comes with at least 7 - 10 years of experience in a sales planning, market intelligence, or similar role. Prior experience within the Automotive industry would be an added advantage.
  • Holds a Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar, with a minimum CGPA of 3.3 or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen sense for market trends to develop strong promotion plans.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and vendor management to handle third-party institutions.
  • Number-savvy and familiar with analytics tools.
