Sales Manager (Off-Trade)

Our client is a leading global premium spirits and wine company that consist of an iconic portfolio of brands, a strong performance‑driven culture, and a truly international, people‑focused organization. They are looking for a Sales Manager (Off-Trade) to join their team!

Job description:

  • Build outlet strategy and volume targets in line with outlet segmentation for assigned channels.
  • Oversee wholesaler selection, relationship management, and performance evaluation within assigned channels.
  • Develop sales projections and target metrics (volume, CM, A&P, depletion, distribution), setting balanced bottom‑up volume and net sales targets.
  • Allocate outlet and wholesaler targets to the sales team according to customer segmentation and KPIs.
  • Lead and monitor regional sales execution and promotions, including sales progress, inventory, depletion, and customer relationship management.
  • Evaluate sales team performance against KPIs.
  • Build strong relationships with key wholesalers and outlets in assigned channels.
  • Communicate company strategies and regional market development plans to the sales team.
  • Work closely with Marketing at the regional level to support initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on brand display, pricing, and promotional activities to elevate brand image and strengthen market influence.
  • Supervise direct subordinates in daily work routines, including engagement with sales, marketing, suppliers, and trade partners.
  • Develop subordinates in alignment with the company's direction (value growth), enhancing their brand knowledge, client engagement skills, teamwork (Sales & Marketing), and openness to new ideas.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with formal business qualifications or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant sales experience gained in leading multinational companies.
  • Strong competency in spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and other Chinese dialects is an added advantage.
  • Experience in the alcohol or luxury industry is beneficial.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical capabilities, with a result‑oriented mindset and strong adaptability to change.
