Sales Manager

Job description

Heading/intro:

Our client are experts in fluid engineering solutions, providing their customers with services including custom pump designs, complete pump assembly and retrofit projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth for industrial pump solutions by combining strong technical expertise with strategic business development skills.
  • Perform cost-benefits and needs analysis of customers to propose ideal solutions.
  • Provide technical details to customers across industries such as oil & gas, water treatment, chemical processing and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer specifications.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with customers across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to payment.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 years of sales/business development experience in the pumps or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of pump technologies (centrifugal, positive displacement, submersible, etc.).
  • Result oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
