About Our Client

Our client is an established food ingredients company with global presence. Specialised in baking ingredients, they are seeking for a Sales Director to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Strategic Sales Execution
  Design and implement robust sales strategies that strengthen channel management and key account growth, while building strong customer and stakeholder relationships across Malaysia and Singapore.

• Champion Value-Driven Commercial Excellence
  Promote a culture focused on value-based selling, operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement to deliver superior outcomes.

• Lead for Growth and Profitability
  Guide the sales team to achieve sustainable revenue and margin growth across the product portfolio, ensuring targets are met through clear KPIs and performance metrics.

• Accelerate Business Development
  Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, including market expansion, innovative product introductions, and strategic partnerships to enhance competitiveness.

• Build a High-Performing Sales Team
  Elevate team capabilities through structured training in product knowledge, technical expertise, and solution selling, fostering a self-driven, best-in-class sales culture.

Requirements

• Comes with around 12 - 15 years of sales experience within Food Ingredients / Baking Ingredients or similar industry, having handled the Food Service channel.
• Has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management, business acumen, and analytical skills.
• Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments.
