Sales and Application Engineer

Heading/intro:

Our client is a reputable industrial automation solutions provider located in southern Malaysia. The company delivers custom automation systems, testing equipment, and engineering services across various industries. They are currently seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to join their team to cover local and international market.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with customers to gather technical requirements and propose suitable engineering solutions
* Prepare quotations, costings, and technical proposals; follow up on project and quotation status
* Manage relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities
* Collaborate with internal teams to hand over sales to project execution and track project progress
* Provide on-site technical support and address service requests or customer concerns when required

Skills & Experience Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical sales or applications role
* Good interpersonal, communication, and project coordination skills
* Willing to travel locally or overseas when required
* Must have good understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems
