RTR Team Lead/Manager

Job description

Our client is a multinational company with a global branding supported by an established management team and a culture that supports personal and professional development. They are looking for multiple position across General ledger Manager/Senior Manager to join and expansion business.

Job responsibilities include:

    • Oversee the Record-to-Report (RTR) process, focusing on end-to-end month-end closing and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Manage a large team responsible for accounting activities across multiple regions.
    • Ensure timely delivery of general accounting and reporting, including fixed assets management, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.
    • Lead and develop the RTR team to achieve operational efficiency and foster effective collaboration.
    • Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by the team for accuracy and compliance.
    • Drive system enhancements and process improvement projects as outlined in performance scorecards, including reviewing and updating process documentation.
    • Act as the primary point of escalation for operational issues and ensure timely resolution.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting, RTR/General Ledger & Reporting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent, with professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Experience working in a shared service center within a global or large organization is a plus.
