Relationship Manager (Kuching)

Job description

Main Responsibility:

  • Lead, organize, supervise, oversee and manage the business development team members in sourcing, developing, expanding, managing and implementing new business opportunities, and take leadership/accountability of the team, by setting clear objectives with action plans in order to maximize individual and departmental performance.
  • Responsible to take the initiative & actions towards achieving personal and own team as well as business targets such as soliciting new-to-bank customers through securing approved and accepted loans, cross selling CASA, internet banking, credit card and other products and services to generate revenue for the Bank.
  • Market and cross sell the Bank's other products and services including liability products and to increase the Bank's customer portfolio accordingly to the prescribed policies and guidelines.
  • In compliance with the credit policies/guidelines and shareholder mandates, to prepare and submit credit facilities proposals to seek management approval for customer's acceptance and loans implementation.


  • Experience in relationship management and ability to originate new business and customers in the market.
  • 5 to 7 years work experience in credit marketing position in the banking industry with good track record of performance achievements.
  • Excellent understanding of & well versed in the business activities or environment involving the corporate customers, SMEs and retail customers.
