Regional Sales Manager

Job description

Our client is a global manufacturer and supplier of specialty and functional ingredients, serving sectors including food & beverage, human nutrition, personal and home care, animal nutrition, performance materials, and agrochemical industries. Due to business growth, they are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to further develop the SEA market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across the SEA region.
  • Identify new business opportunities in food, beverage, nutraceutical, and health‑focused product segments.
  • Conduct market mapping, assess competitive landscape, and identify growth gaps and priority markets.
  • Drive category penetration for functional ingredients in targeted applications (e.g., fortified foods, RTD beverages, dairy alternatives, bakery, confectionery, supplements).
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key customers, including food manufacturers, FMCG companies, contract manufacturers, and nutraceutical brands.
  • Understand customer product development needs and recommend suitable functional ingredient solutions.



Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Nutrition, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales or business development experience in functional food ingredients, nutrition, food additives, or specialty ingredients.
  • Proven track record managing multi-country portfolios in Southeast Asia.
  • Solid understanding of functional ingredients and their applications in food and beverage manufacturing.
  • Ability to translate technical benefits into commercial value propositions for customers.
  • Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
