About our client:

Our client is one of the leading manufacturing MNCs in their field of products, offering great opportunities for internal growth and exposure. They are currently expanding their operations and are looking for a supply chain professional to apply to the position of Regional Raw Material Planning Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for raw material planning for ASEAN region to ensure smooth supply for operation & optimal inventory value
  • Responsible for setting optimal parameters for stock levels, related processes and control mechanisms for materials.
  • Lead the subordinates, provide coaching and guidance for the planning team on problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Resolves issues concerning production scheduling, quality and delivery and slow moving inventory
  • To spearhead process improvements in raw material planning
  • Maintains the system parameters and utilizes software tools to efficiently execute the planning process.
  • Works closely with the NPI team on new product development projects. Coordinate with all concerned functions for product transfer management to make a smooth transition plan impact to customers within inventory control.
  • Responsible for product transition/coater transition, set up parameters required in the system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain management or related field
  • Fluent in English and Malay
  • 7-8 years of experience in Supply chain and Planning, with 3 years in a lead/managerial position
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, covering raw material planning and people management
  • Experienced handling projects (process improvement etc)
